Danau Girang Field Centre - a research and training facility owned by the Sabah Wildlife Department and supported by Cardiff University. Its purpose is to further scientific research with the aim of contributing to long-term conservation projects in Borneo. They support the PhD project on Banteng (endangered wild cattle species) currently being undertaken in Malua by Penny Gardner.
Sun Bear Conservation Centre - The Bornean Sun Bear Conservation Centre (BSBCC) was founded in Sabah, Malaysia in 2008 as a two-stage effort to provide for the care, rehabilitation and release of orphaned and captive sun bears, as well as address the lack of knowledge and awareness of this little-known bear both in Malaysia and internationally.
Cede Prudente is a Professional photographer and Conservationist, born in Lahad Datu, Sabah, Malaysian Borneo. Based in Sandakan on Sabah’s east coast, he lives in one of the world’s most diverse and exciting environments.
